How Avisly uses Twilio

Avisly is a small SaaS operated by Adrian Zieliński (JDG, Poland). Twilio is the CPaaS that delivers our transactional SMS. We do not use Twilio for marketing, voice blasting, or purchased lists.

1. Login codes (Twilio Verify / SMS OTP)

A merchant (or their staff) signs in to the Avisly dashboard. After email + password, we send a 6-digit code to the mobile number already stored on that user record. The number was typed by that person at signup. The code expires in 10 minutes. Same flow can be enabled for the merchant’s own customers at login.

Example: Avisly: Your login code is 482193. It expires in 10 minutes. Don’t share this code.

2. Booking confirmation + reminder

Salons, tutors and clinics embed an Avisly booking form. The client types name, phone and slot. Only if they tick the SMS box do we send:

  • one confirmation immediately after submit
  • one reminder 24 hours before the slot

Example: Avisly: Your appointment at Studio North is confirmed for 21 Oct, 14:30. Reply STOP to opt out.

3. Order status

Small shops collect a phone at checkout for that order only. We send paid / packed / ready-for-pickup. No cart abandonment series. No promotions.

Traffic we expect

50–200 SMS per day after launch, mostly Poland and EU. Sender ID where the country allows it; otherwise a Twilio number. Quiet hours respected for reminders (no sends 21:00–08:00 Europe/Warsaw).

What we will not send

Marketing campaigns, cold SMS, lead-gen blasts, debt collection, political content, SHAFT content, or any message to a number we did not collect in-product. See opt-in.
